Cake Mix Marble Cake

I hope that you enjoy my short how-to video to give you a visual on how to make this cake. I present to you my Cake Mix Marble Cake! Happy Food Blogging!!!

Here's a video tutorial below! :D

You can find my Vanilla Cake Mix Recipe (click) here!

CAKE

3 cups of Vanilla Cake Mix

2/4 cups of cocoa powder(unsweetened), sifted

1 cup of milk

1 stick of butter, melted

3 extra large eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1. Preheat your oven to 350*F. Butter and flour a bundt pan then set aside.

2. Pour cake mix into a bowl and give it a quick stir. Add in your milk and butter, then mix until well combined.

3. Then, add in your eggs and vanilla. Stir the mixture until it is a nice and smooth batter!

4. In your prepared bundt pan, pour 3/4 of your cake batter and reserve a 1/4 of the batter for the chocolate swirl.

5. Pour the sifted cocoa powder into the last quarter of the batter, and mix until well combined(and smooth). Dollop chocolate cake batter over the top of the vanilla cake, using two spoons.(you may have a little cake batter left over DO NOT THROW IT AWAY, bake a cupcake or two :D) Then swirl the batters together using a butter knife.

6. Bake the cake for 35-36 minutes until fully baked and a nice golden brown. Set the aside to cool completely.

CHOCOLATE GANACHE GLAZE

1 cup of heated cream

1 cup of chocolate chips( I use semi-sweet for a balance of flavors :D )

1. Pour the chocolate chips into a bowl, then pour over the heated cream. Ensure that all the chocolate chips are settled into the cream, let sit for about a minute or two then stir to evenly melt the chocolate chips. As the mixture sits it will thicken. SIDE NOTE: If you allow your ganache to sit for too long and the chocolate chips don't melt pop the mixture into the microwave for 15-25 second increments(depending on the wattage of your microwave!). Set aside, let it come to room temperature.

2. Once your cake is cooled loosen the sides with a knife then flip onto your serving plate. If your cake seem to stick still take a bowl of hot water and set your cake inside for a minutes(this will reheat the cake slightly and help loosen the cake. So that when you flip it it will come out easier!).

3. Once you've flipped your cake, and your ganache is thicken drizzle glaze over as desired.

4. ENJOY! HAPPY FOOD BLOGGING!!!
